Welcome to Fall news 2020! Your Board is working to put together this years schedule of events. Unfortunately, we still do not know when we will meet in person again but we hope you stay connected to your CFE Chapter thru our newsletters & events.
We have reached out to our related chapter partners; IA/NE Heartland ACFE Chapter, the IASIU IA/NE Chapter and IIA Chapter, for training opportunities sponsored by them. We are also hoping to host our own on-line meetings with speakers, via Zoom or other live platforms. If you are interested in being a speaker or have technical experience with setting up online sessions, we could use your help. Please reach out to us ASAP. We appreciate your continued support.
We are now collecting yearly dues for the 20-21 year. The cost of dues remains $20, unless you are a student ($10). Your yearly dues helps cover ongoing expenses related to the maintenance of our chapter, such as website support, insurance, domain fees and mail box rental. By keeping your membership current, you help keep our chapter active. Update your membership information by completing a form located under the Join tab on our website. Our friends at the KC ACFE Chapter are offering a half-day Live Virtual Training session this month. A New Fraud Risk Plan for a New Normal, will be offered on October 27th, 2020, from 8:00am-12:00pm. Cost is $45 for guest. You will earn 4 CPE credits. Registration closes Thursday, October 22.
